Principal Zheng Guangyou said that in recent years, he has been committed to improving the English proficiency of students in Dongshan District. Last year, he invited international backpackers from 9 countries to the school to share the cultures of various countries. Starting from March this year, through ICYE (Taiwan International Youth Cultural Exchange Association), 19-year-old Frida was matched with a one-year volunteer school accompanying program, allowing students to use English to make friends with foreigners anytime and anywhere in school. .

Dongshan Junior High School plans to guide students to gradually improve their English through listening exercises, conversation training and other steps through regular weekly cultural exchange courses, Chinese interactive teaching, English board games and daily English speaking teaching activities.

Zheng Guangyou said that in order to expand the influence of the project and play the role of an education action zone, an international education strategic alliance was formed with elementary schools in Dongshan, Shengxian, Jibeishu and other school districts. With the support of resources such as the King Car Cultural and Educational Foundation, General Glove Company, and the bilingual program of the Tainan City Government Education Bureau, we hope to share the unique culture of the local Dongshan industry with foreign friends.
